Emily Guiver is a sleep coach for babies and children working in Beaconsfield, High Wycombe and across South Bucks.

With 22 years’ experience working closely with families and caring for children (from newborns to teenagers) Emily is a highly experienced sleep coach. She has cared for multiple children with complex medical needs, often overnight, and has extensive training in all aspects of child care and development.

“I have a fascination with sleep as its such an important function for all of us, and its health benefits are far reaching. Both of my children are diagnosed with sleep disorders, so I also have personal experience of sleep deprivation and the effect that can have on parents. This hugely influenced my decision to specialise in sleep. I love nothing more than to help other parents and their little ones get more sleep!”

“When I meet families who are chronically sleep deprived and feeling overwhelmed, it is incredibly rewarding to help empower them to make positive changes and implement routines and techniques that make a huge difference, usually within the first day or so. Emily has worked in various roles within the child care spectrum including Nanny, Night Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist/Maternity Practitioner, Respite Carer for children and young people with special needs as well as in a primary school setting.

Emily is based in South Bucks and makes home visits. She also offers consultations over the phone or via video call with anyone anywhere in the world.

Fees: Workshops from £25, 1:1 consultations from £150

Sleep Training (Level 3)
Postnatal and Infant care training
All 4 Maternity training – Compassionate Maternity Care
Transition to Motherhood

We have learnt so much from Emily about routines, sleep techniques, self settling and sleep training options and sleep regressions.

Emily did an overnight with us last night and looked after our five week old son. It was amazing – I had a peaceful night and managed to get eight hours sleep even though he is breastfed. I feel like a new person today – fully charged and can enjoy him even more.
Emily is very calm, gentle with the baby, professional and easy to have around. This is my fourth baby and so I am keen for him to learn positive sleep behaviours.

We had previously worked with Emily as our night nanny during the newborn days.
When we hit the 4 month sleep regression we enlisted Emily’s help again to coach us through the sleepless nights. The advice and practices Emily taught us were invaluable. Emily was so practical and thorough in her approach to the sleep regression, she helped us establish a really practical routine for our daughter, and helped us encourage our daughter to take those much needed longer daytime naps!
Without Emily’s help again I think we would have been really lost!
