Founded by childcare specialist, Jayne Lindsay, Calm Little Minds is an emotional wellbeing service offering support to children, young people and their families in Buckinghamshire.
“We strongly believe that early intervention is key to building resilience in children and their families. By using us, you skip a long NHS waiting list and NHS criteria for treatment and you gain quick access to a bespoke service to help your child and family deal with the challenges you are facing.
We provide help and support for common challenges facing children and young people today, such as:
- Anxiety
- Anger Management
- Low Self-Esteem
- Family Separations
- Behavioural Issues
- Fussy Eaters
- Bullying
We can also guide parents through challenging times with guidance on how to gain or restore a calm family environment.
We work flexibly to suit your needs. We work with your child in the comfort and safety of their school or home environment and we offer flexible appointments to support parents in their own home.
We listen to you and assess your child to understand their unique situation. We personalise the teaching of coping mechanisms for your child. We recommend an average of six weekly 1:1 sessions and we will keep you updated on your child’s progress. If support is required for parents or carers we will tailor this to your needs and are happy to discuss how we can help.”
Whilst it is always advisable to talk to your GP about these issues you can also fast track access to additional support through Calm Little Minds to help your child understand how to manage issues and improve their emotional wellbeing.
Calm Little Minds provide experienced and qualified professionals to support children and teenagers, whilst also offering tools and techniques to parents and carers.
6-week packages cost around £300.
